Who do you know whose vision and energy has improved life in Alexandria? There are two categories for your nomination:

(1) Individuals who have contributed at least one tangible improvement to the quality of the city's life that would likely be missing without this person's vision and energy.
(2) Individuals demonstrating exemplary service to the city over an extended time (ten years or more).

*Note that those currently running for or holding political office will not be considered. The contributions of City employees should be beyond the responsibilities of their jobs.

 
You may nominate as many Legends as you consider worthy of consideration. Please use a separate form for each nominee. Nominations from past years will be considered in future years and should not be renominated unless new information is added.

The nomination may be no more than two pages. 8-1/2 x 11. Page 1 must contain contact information about the nominee and the nominator. On Page 2, state simply why you consider this person a Legend. Specify at least one tangible improvement to the quality of life in Alexandria, something that would not likely exist if not for the vision and determination of this person or how this person represents extended (at least ten years) exemplary service to the city.*
